Heart screening reviewed by a physician

A resting ECG records the heart's electrical rhythm, and echocardiography adds a picture of how the heart is pumping and how its valves are working. Both are combined with a cardiac risk assessment that looks at your history, blood pressure and other factors alongside the test results.

The test is performed at your visit and reviewed by a physician, so your care isn't left waiting on a separate report to be chased up. Where the findings point to something that needs closer attention, you are referred on to cardiology for further assessment and management.
