Outpatient department (OPD)
Free general and specialist consultations in one department, with same-day slots and a diagnosis explained before you leave.
Book a consultationOne department, every consultation
The outpatient department is open around the clock and covers everyday complaints as well as booked specialist clinics, with in-house doctors deciding what your case actually needs rather than working through a fixed list of tests. Same-day slots are kept open for problems that cannot wait for next week.
The consultation itself is free, a first for Sri Lanka, so seeing a doctor is never a question of what you can afford. Tests, medicines and procedures are charged as usual, and OPD patients receive a 10% discount on laboratory charges when tests are ordered as part of the visit. Before you leave, your doctor explains what was found and what it means, and the same desk books your follow-up so you are not sent elsewhere to arrange it.
